Fun activities are plentiful as well. Destin and Panama City offer deep sea fishing. Great shopping is available at fantastic shops and outlets, including Destin Commons, Silver Sands Factory Stores, and Panama City Pier Park.
Golfing in the area is another popular activity. The public courses are not only beautiful and challenging to every skill level, but they're also very reasonably priced.
Bike rentals are available at many local shops and the area boasts a gorgeous 18 mile paved bike path along 30A and separated from the roadway. The bike path winds through serene beach communities, along coastal dune lakes, and through spectacular natural scenery with gulf views.
Other fun activities in the area include boating, parasailing, scuba diving, water sports, go-cart tracks, and the Big Kahuna water park in Destin.
